Reservations are open until the end of December – book a table and celebrate the festive season with us!
To celebrate the festive season we’ll be serving our seasonal feast menu from Wednesday 11th November – Wednesday 30th December. It’s £65pp at dinner and £40pp at lunchtime and is perfectly suited for large parties.
Parties of six and over are served the seasonal feast menu. Parties of five or less will have the option of choosing either the seasonal feast menu or the à la carte menu.
With 48hr advance notice prior to the reservation date, allergies can be accommodated and menus can be tailored to each guest. Please click on the below weblink to view sample seasonal feast menus including pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan versions.

Opening Hours
During December, we’re open from the 2nd through to the 23rd and in between Christmas and New Year, from the 28th to the 30th.
Dinner – Wednesday/Thursday, 5pm-11pm and Friday/Saturday, 5:30pm-12am
Lunch – Thursday, 12:30pm-3:30pm and Friday/Saturday, 12:30pm-4pm

Bar Shrimp
The lead-up to Christmas is made all the more exciting now that we have a cocktail bar next door to Higher Ground, Bar Shrimp! 🦐
It’s the ideal spot to come for drinks before or after your meal at Higher Ground – on Wednesdays and Thursdays Bar Shrimp opens at 4pm, an hour before Higher Ground, and its Happy Hour until 6pm! £10 martinis and 50% off oysters anyone?
If you wish to come for drinks, you don’t need to make a reservation.
Bar Shrimp Opening Hours
Wednesday/Thursday, from 4pm-12am (Happy Hour, 4pm-6pm)
Friday, Saturday, from 2pm-1am (Happy Hours on Fridays, 2pm-6pm)
Sundays, from 5pm-2am (drinks only)

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate and do not include service charge.
In order to secure and fully confirm your reservation we will kindly require credit card details. We keep these details on file in case of late cancellations and no-shows. We do not take a deposit.
For parties of six and over:
What happens if you wish to cancel your reservation?
We fully appreciate that plans in and around the festive period can change. A cancellation fee of £35 per guest will be charged if reservations are cancelled within seven days of the reservation date. Outside of the seven day period, no cancellation charge applies.
What happens if you need to amend your party size?
A cancellation fee of £35 per guest will be charged if reservations are reduced in size within 24hrs of the reservation time.
For parties of five or less:
What happens if you wish to cancel your reservation?
If you cancel your reservation within 48hrs of the reservation time, a £35 cancellation fee per guest will be applied. Outside of the 48hr period, no cancellation charge applies.
What happens if you need to amend your party size?
You will be charged a fee of £35 per guest if your reservation party decreases in size within 24hrs of the reservation time.
