Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Higher Ground!

Reservations for New Year’s Eve are now being accepted and we can’t wait to celebrate what’s been an incredible opening year!

Joseph and the team have created a special sharing menu that celebrates the winter season and produce from around the UK. We look forward to ending the year on a high with all of you who have made this first year so memorable.

You can view a sample NYE set sharing menu here. Dietary requirements and allergies can be accommodated with advance notice provided. A vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian set sharing menu can be served that’s to be taken by the entire table or as pairs within larger party sizes.

Join us at Higher Ground this Christmas!

To celebrate the Christmas season we will be serving a seasonal feast sharing menu priced at £55 per guest from 15th November – 30th December 2023 for parties of all sizes. Our usual à la carte menu is also available throughout this period.

You can make a reservation for parties of up to ten guests below via OpenTable. For larger parties of over ten guests, please email hello@highergroundmcr.co.uk – alternatively, please call 0161 2362931 to enquire further.

Parties of six guests and over will be served the seasonal feast sharing menu. For parties of five or less, the seasonal sharing menu is priced at £55 per guest and our usual à la carte will be available.

The seasonal feast sharing menu is priced at £40 per guest at lunchtimes.

Dietary preferences and allergies can be accommodated within the seasonal feast sharing menu including vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian.

At lunch a £40pp seasonal set sharing menu is offered alongside an à la carte menu. At dinner both à la carte and a seasonal set sharing menu at £55pp are available.

Reservations of 6x guests and over will be served the seasonal set sharing menu. Dietary requirements and allergies can be accommodated. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and pescatarian set sharing menus are available.

Higher Ground is closed on 24th-27th December and will close for a winter break from 1st January, reopening on 17th January.

Higher Ground is wheelchair accessible. We do not allow dogs in the restaurant, we only allow registered guide dogs. Card payments only.

Our Christmas reservation guidelines and policies

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate and do not include service charge.

For parties of six and over:

What happens if you wish to cancel your reservation?
We fully appreciate that plans in and around the festive period can change. A cancellation fee of £35 per guest will be charged if reservations are cancelled within fourteen days of the reservation date.

What happens if you need to amend your party size?
A cancellation fee of £35 per guest will be charged if reservations are reduced in size within 24hrs of the reservation time.

For party sizes of five or less:
If you cancel your reservation within 48hrs of the reservation time, a £35 cancellation fee per guest will be applied. You will be charged £35 per guest if your reservation party decreases within 24hrs of the reservation time.
